Robin Hood's Bay

The Yorkshire Coast

A picturesque and unspoilt fishing village situated on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast, between Whitby and Scarborough.

The old cottages are linked by narrow alleyways, and the whole area is full of charm and character.  Nearby, the beach has both sand and rocky pools, and the surrounding moors offer great walks and some stunning views.

A friendly welcome awaits in the village pubs and hotels, with weekly quiz nights, folk nights, and guest bands.  Local facilities include golf, riding and an excellent local museum!

Shops include a Post Office, fish shops, a variety of bookshops, newsagents, gallery, drapery, and good quality crafts and gifts.

As for food, take your choice of cafes, tea rooms, a bistro, or hotels and pubs with wonderful bar meals or a-la-carte menus.

Up to date information on all local events and happenings can be found in the monthly 'Bayfair',  the village's own newspaper!
